fuckyeahhistorycrushes: Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Rommel, Panzer Commander of the Wehrmacht, also known as the Desert Fox. He was cunning, strategic, and loved his family. Rommel did not agree with Hitler’s methods, and at times, would even refuse to take prisoners.  He was smart, moral and drop dead sexy! redhotandrosey adds:  You can’t deny the military genius of Rommel just because he fought on the wrong side! He wasn’t even much of a Nazi, he was really just an army guy. HE WAS EVEN PART OF AN ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT ON HITLER! Hitler respected him so much that he let him commit suicide rather than punish him for participating in the plot. And all the Allied forces respected him as a general for being honorable and humane. I had to post this somewhere.
